In an effort to introduce new customers to our bred to order program we have begun to expand our breeding rooms to further expand our colony. Along with this we have assessed ways in which we can introduce new customers to the program while maintaining the ‘personal touch’ approach to the service that we are so proud of. In order to do this we have introduced the idea that, along with emailing you of any updates regarding your deliveries etc, we also have a live calendar on a secure (password protected) section of our website. This calendar will display the dates your orders will be sent, updates and amendments i.e. bank holidays etc. Any changes to the program that we make will be updated automatically in real time via the live calendar (please note we will always email you regarding updates, changes etc, the calendar is in place as reference, so that at any time, you can see when your orders are to be sent for weeks ahead, look over previous orders, displaying program updates etc – live communication 24/7).

 

The way the program works –

You tell us what size silkworms you require, the quantity and how many times per week/month you would like us to send you silkworms.

We will add you to the program, and inform you of your first shipment date, along with this information, we will provide your reference and site password. This reference is to be used when looking at the program calendar on our website, this will display the dates that your orders are being shipped.

The next step is with us, we then begin to hand rear your silkworms to perfection. As hobbyists and not just breeders, we take great care and passion in raising silkworms and send them to you when they are in their strongest and most fertile state of immunity – We ship each tub of silkworms with mesh (to secure them in their tub(s) during transit) and enough food to last them through transit and possibly a few more days.

1-2 days following the date of dispatch, you will receive your first order of hand raised silkworms.

Delivery – Your order(s) is to be sent via Royal Mail’s first class postage (unless requested otherwise), from the date of dispatch, you can expect delivery in one to two days.

Payment –We can accept many types of payment for example, PayPal, all major debit and credit cards, standing orders etc. For further info please ask.

 

 

 

An example of the process in joining the Bred to Order Program

If you required 2 tubs of silkworms, twice a month.

We enter you into the program, by giving you a reference which will connect you to the live calendar. At this point we will begin the hand rearing process of your silkworms, we will then inform you of when your first order will be ready (date given within 2 days) and from that point we can regulate the hatching and feeding to suit your requested dates of shipment so that you receive your silkworms as and when you choose.

Its really that simple, payment can be made either at the end of each month, or one shipment in hand. Best of all, the service is completely free.

With the program, you are not tied to any contract, the program is in place so that we can provide the best product and service possible, so if you were to request withdrawal from the program, there will be no related fee’s, just let us know and we can remove you from the program as fluently as joining it.
